Buganda
Buganda is a kingdom in East Africa. It is inside Uganda - a country that owes it's name to mispronunciation of 'Buganda' by the early visitors from Britain. Buganda straddles the equator, with roughly half of it in the northern hemisphere and half in the southern. It also borders Lake Nalubaale ('Home of the Gods') - also known as 'Victoria'.
